Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, with a Master's in Constitutional Law and a specialisation in Constitutional Justice and the Interpretation and Application of the Constitution, both from the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
He served as Secretary of the Toledo Bar Association from 1994 to 2001 and as a Member of the Advisory Council of Castilla-La Mancha (Consejo Consultivo de Castilla-La Mancha) from 2011 to 2019. He also taught at the Toledo Bar Association's Practical Law School (Escuela Práctica Jurídica) from 2002 to 2007. In the media, he was scriptwriter and host of the programmes "Derecho a saber" (2001–2004) and "Noche de Ley" (2005–2007) on Tele-Toledo, contributor to "Audiencia Pública" on Cadena COPE (2010–2012) and, since 2012, contributor to "Es Actualidad" on Grupo Cadena Local.

He brings extensive regulatory experience gained at leading banks and consultancy firms in both Spain and Switzerland. He has worked for BBVA, Deloitte, Julius Baer, Safra Sarasin and Divarian (Cerberus), holding several positions including Head of Compliance for Spain and Front Risk Manager for the Americas region.
Likewise, he advises production companies, artists and screenwriters on contract drafting, financing arrangements and related matters.
